In the Beginning: The Dependency Timeline and the Stakeholders in the Case (A110)


Description

How does a dependency case get from its beginning to its end, and what are the important points in between? Who are the important players in the dependency case? In this training, participants will learn about the dependency timeline; participants will learn the significance of the hearings, meetings, and dates that occur in a dependency case. Participants will also learn about the important stakeholders in the dependency case, from the parties to the case to the supports that can be provided to families along the way. Participants will also be exposed to reports, literature, and actual case documents detailing the important role attorneys play in advocating for clients against parties to the dependency case.
